Biocean Wildlife Encounters is one of the top-rated Whale and Bird Watching Eco- friendly Tour options in Nuevo Vallarta and Punta Mita, Mexico. We are now accepting CV’s for the position of Naturalist Guide to join our small team of whale and bird watching Specialists. It is a part time job, mainly in the mornings but must be available in the afternoons if it’s required. During our tours, you can enjoy winter sunny days while observing and documenting encounters with whales, dolphins, sea turtles, birds and more with our small groups of guests.
Some daily duties of the position are: welcoming and briefing guests, leading tours (briefings about the species encountered, taking photographs, use of the hydrophone, collecting sightings data, etc.) and participating in the local wildlife conservation and research efforts.
We can consider this position as a volunteer internship with an economic help that could increase base on credentials, experience, languages spoken and personal initiatives

Requirements:
· Background in Marine Sciences
· Legally able to work in Mexico
· Fluent in Spanish and English
· Ability to work in a dynamic environment
· Knowledge of the marine species encountered
Preferences:
· Resident of the Bandera’s Bay area
· Certified Guide of the Islas Marietas National Park
· Skilled in taking photos
· Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
